Today was the first time I've visited livejournal since over the summer. I got really disheartened the last time I wrote (private entry, of course) and never wanted to come back to it.

Since then, however, everything I wrote about in my last entry has seemingly turned itself around and I am feeling legitimately happy. And excited! I'm going to visit Greg and his family in Georgia in four days, after not seeing him since Dec. 19. It's supposed to snow there on Friday. This is all too much at once.

I feel like things have been going pretty well for me in life lately. The only things I can even think of complaining about are just inconveniences in the big scheme of things anyway. Thank goodness I have good people around me, though.

Oh, side note on being happy, though: I looked back and almost a year ago to the day, I wrote a post about how I hated working at The Maroon, how I wanted to quit and had no desire to be a future editor-in-chief anymore, etc. And that was what I actually came here to write about today, how one year later I hate my job again and am simply going to stick through it until I have the chance (be it next semester or later) to be editor. So reading that old entry gave me heart; now I just think it's a seasonal thing to hate my job at The Maroon. 
So that's it. I guess I'll maybe write in here in another six months or so. I don't even know if anyone uses this damn website anymore, honestly...
